Training of the horse is a slow methodical process here at Critter Creek. Young horses are not pushed beyond their physical and mental limitations nor are they released to inexperienced riders. You must be involved in the training of your horse. Horses learn very quickly and never forget their experiences, good or bad. They don't stop learning just because you brought them home from the trainer. An inexperienced rider/handler can re-train a horse to unacceptable behaviors in just a few days. Horses that come to Critter Creek Farm for training must agree to stay here for a minimum of three months. There are no short cuts! Exceptions are made for horses that have been trained here in the past or are have been undergoing training by us at your location.
